Sri Lanka has been accepted by the Investment Migration Council (IMC) – one of the largest worldwide associations for investor immigration and citizenship by investment – as one of its global destinations in which it will promote investor migration.

In a statement, the IMC stated that Sri Lanka’s political and economic conditions are suitable to promote to its members to live in and invest.

Dr. Prabath Ukwatta was selected as the IMC’s representative in Sri Lanka with plans to offer Sri Lanka a time slot at the next global conference in Turkey. Ukwatta said this presented an “ideal opportunity to talk about Sri Lanka and promote investor migration.”
