The Mount Lavinia Hotel has come up with a very unique offer to honour front line heroes who are empathetically staking their lives to look after us during the COVID-19 pandemic. We, Mount Lavinia Hotel are offering one lucky couple the chance to win their dream wedding, with all expenses on us.

Synonymous with the hotel’s 200-year history is a story of love between a British Governor and a local dancer which blossomed into a secret romance over time. With colonial ambiences of a bygone era, the enthralling backdrop of the grand ocean or the many picturesque locations situated within the hotel premises, Mount Lavinia Hotel is indeed an iconic and preferred hotel for both local and foreign weddings.

We have teamed up with leading suppliers and put together an incredible wedding package worth over Rs 2.5 million. The hotel’s events team with years of experience in creating memorable weddings are looking forward to creating the perfect day for one lucky couple.

The lucky couple will enjoy the chance of hosting their wedding at our most historic hall, The Empire Ballroom, once the governor’s official dining room converted as the main ballroom of the hotel which has hosted a number of significant banquets in the past. The food will be curated by a dedicated team of chefs headed by Chef Publis and Mount Lavinia Hotel’s very own Director of Culinary Affairs Chef Ralf Vogt.

Chamathkara Flowers who have been known to deliver magnificent floral arrangements for weddings across the country will provide the lucky couple with the flowers and décor on their special day.

Leading wedding photography and videography specialists Studio Ravi will collaborate with the hotel as the official photography partner.

A key element in any wedding is ensuring that the guests are entertained, teaming up to provide the rhythmic tunes for the wedding are The Redeemers and DJ Pierre.

Kanrich Cakes who have outdone themselves on many occasions by delivering immaculate cake structures for a variety of wedding ceremonies will provide the wedding cake.

For the couple’s grand exit, M Classic Cars have come on board to grant the lucky couple a chance to ride in one of their famous classic vehicles.

Each bride is special in her own way and deserves nothing but the best on the day of her wedding, Bridal Inspirations will collaborate to offer an exclusive service of makeup for the bride.

In addition to these suppliers, Zam Gems, a company dedicated to producing luxurious jewellery are keen to offer wedding jewellery to make the ceremony a truly grand one.
