For Immediate Release – 22.10.2026: The Marriott Sri Lanka Business Council is proud to announce the continuation of its signature annual fundraising tradition, the Road to Give Walk-a-thon 2026, scheduled for Saturday, October 31, 2026. This highly anticipated event will bring together Sheraton Colombo Hotel, Sheraton Kosgoda Turtle Beach Resort, Courtyard by Marriott Colombo and ITC Ratnadipa in a unified effort to raise crucial funds and awareness in support of the local community. This year’s fundraising efforts will benefit World Vision Sri Lanka’s SHIKSHA Project, reaffirming Marriott Sri Lanka’s ongoing commitment to community development and well-being.
The Road to Give is more than just a walk; it is a living expression of Marriott Sri Lanka’s purpose. Each year, associates, partners, and community members come together in a shared commitment to make a meaningful difference in the lives of those in need. Through this collective initiative, the Marriott Sri Lanka Business Council aims to create a lasting, positive impact by supporting initiatives that empower individuals, strengthen communities, and contribute to a better future.
This year’s initiative supports World Vision Sri Lanka’s SHIKSHA Project, empowering more than 15,000 students through improved digital learning environments, enhanced school facilities, nutrition programs, and recreational infrastructure. The Walk-a-thon will commence promptly at 6:30AM on October 31, bringing together hotel associates, valued corporate partners, and community members. The route will be flagged off from Sheraton Colombo and will culminate at the Courtyard by Marriott Colombo.
