Commons, the first home grown coffee house, now in its 21st year, is at 62 Kynsey Road, Colombo 07, with a refreshed space and plenty to discover. Situated in a charming heritage 100 year home in an elegant neighborhood and at night the home transforms into a magical setting, with ambient lighting that creates a warm, enchanting atmosphere.
The revamped menu invites you to discover exciting new flavors and savor fresh culinary delights, while still enjoying all the familiar favorites you know and love! Starting with Breakfast from 8 am onwards with a delightful menu, continues to serve much-loved Western favorites to the authentic flavors of Sri Lankan roti and hoppers, offering something delicious for everyone to enjoy.
Desserts take center stage at Commons, featuring tempting cakes and sweet treats alongside delightful new creations by experienced Pastry Chef Kapila.
The fresh selection of hot and cold coffees, are there to sip and savor, including the popular Double choc milkshake, refreshing juices and for a little extra indulgence, discover the Gelato Bar by Peddler’s Inn — the perfect finishing touch to your dining experience.
There are new working spaces, alongside cozy corners and more private dining options, providing a spot for every guest to enjoy at Commons Coffee House. Commons feature art by talented local artists, and selected pieces are available for sale.

Menu is available on Uber and Pick me delivery services and also for takeaway.
The Roti cart is available for outside catering services along with a selection of buffet and cocktail menus to enjoy Commons food at your next event.
