Colombo, November 10 2025 – City of Dreams Sri Lanka unveiled its newest signature dining experience, The Grand Pâtisserie Affair, at The Crystal Lounge, NÜWA, introducing Colombo to a refined afternoon ritual that blends handcrafted indulgence with contemporary sophistication.
Launched on Saturday, 8 November 2025, the event marks the beginning of a new chapter in the city’s high tea scene. Held every Saturday and Sunday from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM, The Grand Pâtisserie Affair invites guests to savour an exquisite buffet featuring handcrafted pastries, warm scones, and gourmet creations, paired with a curated selection of thefinest teas and coffees, all in an ultra-luxury environment.
Set against the backdrop of The Crystal Lounge’s panoramic views and opulent décor, the launch afternoon brought together Colombo’s social tastemakers and culinary enthusiasts for an intimate preview of what promises to become the city’s most elegant weekend indulgence. The menu highlights the artistry of NÜWA’s pâtisserie team, with each bite balancing classic European finesse and subtle local inspiration.
Priced at LKR 5,000 nett per person, the first time in Sri Lanka experience is designed to evoke “where sweetness meets elegance” — a phrase that encapsulates both the culinary philosophy and the atmosphere of NÜWA. Guests can expect layers of texture, flavour, and craftsmanship, from delicately baked éclairs and fruit tarts to the comforting warmth of freshly prepared scones and artisan teas.
