A five year anticorruption action plan is to be launched with the goal of achieving sustainable development across all sectors. The plan is set to introduce provisions to take legal action against parties involved in corruption including state and private sector officers, politicians and social activists.

Weak areas in the law were amended on the basis of ridding every state institution of corruption, improving social and cultural values, and implementing a legal framework with a punishment mechanism.

The opinions, directives and ideas of local and foreign experts, intellectuals and the general public were gathered in discussions held over the course of a year by the Commission to Investigate Allegations of Bribery or Corruption (CIABOC).
