HOMELANDS SKYLINE

Positioned as a groundbreaking initiative – and Sri Lanka’s first theme park style resort, and apartments and residences – Homeland Skyline’s Santorini Resort Apartments and Residencies was opened to the public on 6 May.

The proposal formulated on 27 March to develop 156 architecturally designed houses, 240 apartments, a diplomatic zone and nine theme parks, and accommodate over 50 facilities, enables the company to deliver a one of a kind service to customers.

Group Chairman Nalin Herath, Group Directress Harshani Herath and other corporate figures were present at the grand opening.

Santorini is said to be the first of its kind in Negombo and the product of the ambitious journey of Home Lands Holdings’ property development arm.

Known for its stark bright white walls and flashes of vibrant blue, and distinct architecture, the namesake Greek island Santorini heavily inspired this project. The company says that residents will be able to attest that life at the resort is nothing short of a fairytale.

This unique resort is built on 17 acres of land in a prime location facing Baseline Road in Negombo.

The location is surrounded by developed social and civic infrastructure, including several schools, hospitals, and shopping, residential and commercial spaces. It is seven minutes away from the Southern Expressway (E01) interchange and is in an area with the requisite amenities to provide customers with greater convenience.

Additionally, it is located approximately five, seven and 10 minutes away from Negombo, the Bandaranaike International Airport (BIA) and Colombo-Katunayake Expressway respectively. The Colombo city limits can be reached within 20 minutes from the project’s location.

This project is designed with the leisure, entertainment, luxury and safety of its residents in mind. Customers will be able to select from a range of housing types including two and three bedroom apartments, two storey houses in single and twin house styles, serviced apartments and a commercial zone.

The diplomatic zone comprises a single apartment complex and twin houses. Housing and apartments in this zone will operate as serviced abodes, providing security, a butler service, cleaning and housekeeping services, property maintenance and a variety of other amenities.

Homeland Skyline’s track record shows that it has a tendency to set records by designing and building properties, using cutting-edge technology and revolutionary concepts.

In fact, Home Lands Holdings and Homelands Skyline earned the highest grading this year – for maintaining the highest standards in real estate, and their dedication to quality and excellence following an evaluation by the Construction Industry Development Authority (CIDA).

Homelands Skyline believes that it has set a precedent through its many complexes – viz. Ariyana Resort Apartments in Athurugiriya, Canterbury Golf Resort Apartments and Residencies in Kahathuduwa, Elixia 3C’S Skyline Apartments in Malabe, and Green Valley. These accommodate 352, 784, 336 and 354 apartment units respectively.

The latest project that’s set to commence construction in Negombo during the year is planned to house 384 apartment units.

Ariyana Resort Apartments – positioned as the first resort apartment concept in South Asia – has been honoured with awards for the ‘Best Housing Development (Sri Lanka)’ and ‘Best Housing Architectural Design,’ and it was ‘Highly Commended’ in the ‘Best Green Development’ category at the prestigious PropertyGuru Asia Property Awards 2018 in Sri Lanka.
