The Central Bank of Sri Lanka (CBSL) announced that an auction for a Treasury bill issue of Rs. 26,000 will be held on June 14.

Bids are invited from primary dealers in government securities and should be made only through the electronic bidding facility provided by the Central Bank.

CBSL may accept a higher or lower amount than the offered amount at the auction, depending on market conditions. The closing date and time for bid submission is 11 a.m. on 14 June.
