Sri Lankan entrepreneur and consultant, Talal Rafi is to give a talk at the NASDAQ Center on expanding businesses globally. NASDAQ Entrepreneurial Center is part of the New York based NASDAQ Stock Exchange. NASDAQ is the second largest stock exchange in the world. Companies such as Apple, Google, Tesla, Microsoft and Amazon are listed on the NASDAQ Stock Exchange.

The talk will be mainly for  Silicon Valley startups focusing on how to network, brand and strategize when looking to expand a business globally.

Talal Rafi is an entrepreneur and consultant having worked on projects and initiatives by the World Bank, USAID, ADB and Chatham House London. He is a World Bank Ambassador (GYCN) on Climate change and was on the Selection Committee of the Asian Development Bank #DigitalAgainstCovid-19 Innovation Series. He was an Expert at Chatham House on formulating recommendations for the G7 & G20 on gender equality post-covid. Talal is a member of the Forbes Business Council of Forbes Magazine. Talal serves on many local and international advisory boards. He is also on the advisory board of a Silicon Valley startup working on machine learning in the financial sector.
