In 2025, dsl launched Sri Lanka’s first Continental Tyre Experience Centre for premium vehicle users, offering a holistic customer experience including advanced wheel alignment, balancing, tyre inspections,
nitrogen inflation, expert consultation and professional fitment services aligned with global standards.

Q: How has Continental strengthened its presence in Sri Lanka and what
opportunities lie ahead?

A: Continental continues to reinforce its leadership in Sri Lanka’s premium tyre segment by aligning with global innovations and leveraging dsl’s focussed market deve­lopment initiatives. It remains the number one imported premium tyre brand in Sri Lanka, reflecting strong customer trust and demand.

A key milestone was the introduction of a unique five year warranty from the date of purchase (in most cases, the date of fitment too) rather than manufacturing date, reinforcing transparency and long-term value whilst challenging the longstanding industry practice.

Continental has also expanded its positioning in electric vehicle (EV) and hybrid mobility, supported by growing OEM partnerships and demand for energy efficient tyres.
