The government initiates housing projects through many state institutions such as the Urban Settlement Development Authority (USDA). These projects focus on providing affordable housing to low and middle-income citizens, and people in government service. It’s viable to design mock-up room interiors to attract potential buyers with the primary goal of enlightening the public that beautiful interiors aren’t expensive but economical and reliable. The potential of the property can be en-hanced through design to create affordable housing that people would love to reside in. Each unit costs about Rs. 600,000, and includes furniture, fixtures and finish-es. This will shift the mindset of people and help them appreciate design, as well as be happy in their homes irrespective of their level of income. It can be quite chal-lenging to manage the low-budget design – so many strategies to achieve the best with less quantities of material could be employed as this saves money. One such strategy is to spend more on the prime apartments and less on super apartments, to showcase the best as well as the average. More importantly, people can now afford to purchase and reside in modern affordable housing with beautiful interiors.
