Mastercard comes onboard as the Strategic Partner for LankaPay Technnovation Awards 2025

Mastercard has come on board as the strategic partner for LankaPay Technnovation Awards 2025, Sri Lanka’s premier award ceremony dedicated to recognizing and celebrating pioneers in payment technology innovation. Launched in 2017, the LankaPay Technnovation Awards provide a unified platform for financial institutions and FinTechs to shape the future of financial services in the country.

The seventh edition of the awards ceremony will be held on March 26, 2025, at the Ballroom, Shangri-La Hotel, Colombo. The Chief Guest for the event would be Dr Nandalal Weerasinghe, Governor, Central Bank of Sri Lanka while the Guests of honour will be Hon. Eng. Eranga Weeraratne, Deputy Minister of Digital Economy; and Dr. Hans Wijayasuriya, Chief Advisor to the President on Digital Economy. Over 500 key players from the financial sector, government officials and policymakers are expected to attend the event.
