LOLC INSURANCE EARNS DUAL HONOURS AT GREAT MANAGERS AWARDS 2025

LOLC Life Assurance and LOLC General Insurance were recognised for leadership excellence at the Great Managers Awards 2025, reflecting the companies’ continued focus on cultivating high-impact leadership capabilities that drive organisational performance and sustainable growth. Marking a significant milestone, LOLC Life Assurance was recognised as a Company with Great Managers for the first time, while LOLC General Insurance successfully retained this distinction for the second consecutive year, demonstrating the strength and consistency of its leadership culture. The awards were hosted by the Colombo Leadership Academy, an institution dedicated to recognising organisations and professionals who demonstrate excellence in leadership practices and people development across Sri Lanka.
The prestigious ‘‘Company with Great Managers” Awards were accepted by Mr. Jayantha Kalinga, Chief Operating Officer, on behalf of LOLC Life Assurance, and Mr. Udaya Kumara, Chief Operating Officer on behalf of LOLC General Insurance. Further strengthening this achievement, nine outstanding leaders representing LOLC Insurance were individually recognised, underscoring the organisation’s commitment to nurturing well-rounded leadership capabilities that combine performance excellence with people-centric values.
Following a comprehensive evaluation conducted across five leadership dimensions, Wimal Dissanayake, Isuru Wijeratne, and Yasinath Pushpavathani from LOLC Life Assurance, together with Anuruddha Beddewela from LOLC General Insurance, were recognised under Driving Results & Execution Excellence. Vajira Lankanatha and Keerthi Munasinghe of LOLC Life Assurance, along with Dinuka Thirimanne of LOLC General Insurance, were honoured under Aligning Organizational Vision. Dilruwan Dassanayake of LOLC Life Assurance was recognised for Coaching & Developing Others for Growth, while Nalan Perera of LOLC General Insurance was acknowledged under Leadership Integrality & Holistic Approach, reflecting the diverse and future-ready leadership competencies embedded across LOLC Insurance.
The Company with Great Managers Award recognises organisations that demonstrate credible, structured, and sustainable approaches to developing leadership talent, fostering a culture that empowers managers to deliver strategic results while creating long-term value for stakeholders.
