UNION ASSURANCE CELEBRATES TOP ADVISERS AT ‘HALF TIME – FULL FORCE’ MID-YEAR REWARDS & RECOGNITION CEREMONY
Union Assurance, Sri Lanka’s longest-standing private Life Insurer, recently celebrated the outstanding achievements of its Agency Force at the Mid-Year Rewards & Recognition ceremony, honouring the exceptional performance of its top performers for the first half of 2026. The event brought together nearly 150 winning advisers and leaders from across the island, recognising individuals and teams who demonstrated excellence in customer service, business growth, leadership, and commitment to helping Sri Lankans protect what matters most.
Held under the theme ‘Half Time – Full Force’, the event marked the midpoint of the year while setting the stage for an even stronger performance in the months ahead. It served as a platform to acknowledge the dedication and resilience of Union Assurance’s Agency Force, whose efforts continue to drive the Company’s growth and deliver meaningful protection solutions to customers nationwide.
Regions, Zones, and Clusters were honoured for their outstanding achievements. Pettah Region emerged as the Best Large Region, while Matara 02 Region secured recognition as the Best Medium Region. Northern 01 Zone was named Best Zone, and North & East received the accolade for Best Cluster.
The event also recognised the country’s highest-performing new business producers under the National New Business Champion category. Chanaka Appuhamy was crowned the Winner, while Thinesh David Baskaran and Udan Silva were recognised as First Runner-Up and Second Runner-Up respectively for their remarkable contributions during the period.
