With the addition of a new cutting-edge digital press, Softwave has made impossibility a possibility. The new press allows print features once limited to offset printing to be produced at faster speeds and superior quality, even for smaller quantities.

Softwave’s global printing capability has marked the company’s journey of success in the printing sector, enabling it to stand tall against its competitors. As a total printing solutions provider, Softwave possesses world-class printing equipment and offers seamless services that add value to customers at every step of the process.

Group Managing Director Chaminda Kariyawasam says: “Our spirit of excellence has transcended borders, establishing us as a formidable force in the printing sector. We thrive on modern, cutting-edge technology in all three aspects of printing: pre-press, press and post-press, covering both offset and digital printing.”

This technological prowess enables Softwave to offer a diverse range of products to its customers including annual reports, magazines, marketing brochures, catalogues, coffee-table books, school textbooks, posters and more. The company’s commitment to quality is reflected in its ability to meet the highest global standards, thanks to a proficient, multi-skilled and resilient workforce.

Softwave’s latest state-of-the-art printing machines represent a significant advancement in the sector. The company’s portfolio includes the latest Heidelberg technology, which guarantees high quality, world-class printing.

Additionally, Softwave has introduced a six colour Xerox Iridesse digital production press, the first of its kind in Sri Lanka. This press can print beyond CMYK (cyan, magenta, yellow and key), and includes special colours such as metallic gold, metallic silver, white and clear, along with pink shades.

Furthermore, the company’s Konica AccurioShine (MG I) high-end embellishment machine can produce spot UV coatings with tactile and visual effects on typography and images.

This machine can also create 2D and 3D gloss elements for any design, and perform digital hot stamping foil in a range of colours including metallic gold, metallic silver, bronze, pink, blue, green and magenta, available in both matt and gloss finishes.

“Our dedication to quality and innovation has earned us significant recognition both locally and internationally. We received the prestigious Sri Lanka Master Printer Award on three occasions as well as the Global Print Excellence Award. These accolades stand as a testament to our commitment to production quality and status as a leader in the printing sector,” Kariyawasam adds.
