Sponsors NCE Challenge Trophy at the 29th ‘NCE Annual Exports Awards’ ceremony

Colombo, February 20th, 2022: Forming a strategic partnership with Sri Lanka’s National Chamber of Exporters (NCE), Sampath Bank was proud to be a partner of the ‘29th NCE Annual Export Awards’ held at the Shangri-la Hotel. In light of its partnership, Sampath Bank sponsored the NCE Challenge Trophy for the ‘Best Ethically Trading Exporter’.

‘NCE Challenge Trophy for the Best Ethically Trading Exporter’ – Small Category was won by Green Way Asia Lanka (Pvt) Ltd, ‘NCE Challenge Trophy for the Best Ethically Trading Exporter’ – Medium Category was won by Ethical Teas (Pvt) Ltd, ‘NCE Challenge Trophy for the Best Ethically Trading Exporter’ – Large Category was awarded to Samson International PLC and ‘NCE Challenge Trophy for the Best Ethically Trading Exporter’ – Extra Large Category was awarded to Jiffy Products S.L (Pvt) Ltd.

Sampath Bank and the NCE are pleased to have partnered to present this ceremony as a recognition of values and efforts made by the exporters to build a better Sri Lanka in the export drive. Ravi Jayawardena – President of NCE and Shiham Marikar – Secretary General/Chief Executive Officer of NCE and representing Sampath Bank, (Ms.) Shashi Kandambi Jassim – Senior Deputy General Manager and Halin Hettigoda – Assistant General Manager International Banking were present at the occasion.
