NATIONS TRUST BANK GOLF CHAMPIONSHIP RETURNS FOR 2026 WITH THREE SHOTGUN STARTS FOR THE FIRST TIME

Nations Trust Bank will host the latest edition of the Nations Trust Golf Championship 2026 at the Royal Colombo Golf Club (RCGC), as part of its ongoing partnership with the Club. In this year’s tournament, Nations Trust Bank will introduce three shotgun starts for the first time. The annual event continues to serve as a platform to bring together customers, partners, and golf enthusiasts in a shared sporting experience beyond banking.
The championship will take place on 22nd and 23rd May 2026 and is expected to attract over 345 players across three shotguns. Participants will include customers from Private Banking, American Express Cardmembers, Corporate Banking, and Commercial Banking segments, along with invited golf enthusiasts.
Trophies and prizes will be awarded across multiple categories, including Men’s and Ladies’ Winners and Runners-Up, as well as Masters and Seniors divisions. Special recognitions will be presented for standout performances, including the Longest Drive at the 8th Hole, the Closest to the Pin at the 13th Hole, and the Overall Winner of the tournament. In addition, a Hole-in-One prize of a Hublot Big Bang Unico Titanium 42mm watch valued at LKR 8 million will be on offer, while the Overall Winner will receive an all-expenses-paid tour to the Maldives, including accommodation at a premier golf resort.

The tournament forms part of the Bank’s broader collaboration with the Royal Colombo Golf Club, with the championship set to continue annually through 2028. This reflects the Bank’s ongoing focus on supporting sporting culture while creating experiences that bring communities together.
