MINISO brings the magic to Sri Lanka with Harry Potter collaboration, presented by Abans

MINISO, an international retail brand renowned for providing consumers with high quality products at affordable prices, has brought the magic of the world of Harry Potter, crafted by J.K. Rowling, to Sri Lanka with its latest collection. This collaboration marks the first ever IP store experience in Sri Lanka. Since partnering with Abans in 2022, MINISO has been able to bring many high-quality products under unique IP ranges such as Disney, Barbie, BT 21, Sanrio and many more to Sri Lankans, all which Sri Lankans have readily embraced.

In this spirit, MINISO Sri Lanka launched its newest exclusive IP range of Harry Potter at the One Galle Face MINISO on 23rd of November, an event which was marked by magic, mystery and wonder with the participation of a massive number of Harry Potter fans from around the country. Several fun activities also took place at the event, including magic acts, and more, all which the participants enjoyed.

MINISO’s Harry Potter collection features over 150 meticulously designed products spanning various categories, including plush toys, cups, toys, stationery and gifts, fragrances, accessories, and more than ten other categories. Each product integrates iconic elements inspired by Harry Potter, making them instantly recognizable to fans of the books and the movies.

Fans can now enjoy being a true part of this world with the Hogwarts house-exclusive merchandise, including cloaks and many more, while enjoying drinking a butterbeer out of a tumbler of their favourite house. Furthermore, all Potterheads are able to grab a bag with elements inspired by the Hogwarts crest, Hagrid’s iconic birthday cake and the golden snitch, while this magical experience is further enhanced by truly taking you to the origin of it all; merchandise inspired by the platform 9 ¾ at King’s Cross Station.

Starting from 7th December, the MINISO Harry Potter range will be available at the MINISO showrooms in Colombo City Centre and Bambalapitiya, bringing the magical experience closer to more consumers.
