IDEAS BUSINESS AND DEVELOPMENT ACADEMY PARTNERS WITH GLOBAL CULTURE GURU ARTHUR CARMAZZI TO TRANSFORM ORGANISATIONAL CULTURE IN SRI LANKA
A landmark MOU signed with Directive Communication International (DCi Consulting) marks a new era of people-centred leadership for Sri Lankan organisations.

IDEAS Business and Development Academy, one of Sri Lanka’s leading consulting and training institutions with over 17 years of experience, has signed a Memorandum of Understanding with Directive Communication International (DCi Consulting), represented by globally acclaimed organisational culture expert Arthur Carmazzi. The partnership was formalised at a press conference held in Colombo on 26 June 2026.
Widely recognised as “the Culture Guru,” Arthur Carmazzi is the pioneer of Directive Communication Psychology and the Brain Colours framework — methodologies that help organisations understand how their people think, communicate, and make decisions. His work spans global corporations and has been credited with measurable improvements in team dynamics, leadership effectiveness, employee engagement, and business performance.
Through this partnership, IDEAS becomes the authorised licensed institution for DCi Consulting’s methodologies in Sri Lanka. The collaboration will deliver culture transformation programmes to organisations of all sizes — from large corporates to SMEs — with a goal of developing over 500 certified local trainers and coaches to sustain long-term, country-wide impact.
The partnership also addresses a critical priority for Sri Lankan businesses: engaging the next generation. Arthur Carmazzi’s frameworks on Generation Z engagement and readiness for Generation Alpha will help organisations attract young talent, leverage technology effectively, and build purpose-driven workplaces.
Speaking at the event, Imran Nafeer, Chief Consultant of IDEAS, said: “We believe a better culture produces better people, and better people produce better results. Our aspiration is to create role-model organisations in Sri Lanka and take them to the world. This partnership with Arthur Carmazzi is the right step at the right time.”
IDEAS also announced plans to expand regionally, with Myanmar and the Philippines identified as the next markets for this transformative work.
