HOTEL SHOW COLOMBO 24TH, 25TH, 26TH JULY 2026: SHOWCASING INNOVATIONS TO UPLIFT SRI LANKA’S BOOMING HOSPITALITY INDUSTRY

Sri Lanka’s premier hospitality and food service exhibition, Hotel Show Colombo 2026, will take place from 24th to 26th July 2026 at the BMICH, reaffirming its position as the country’s leading platform for the hospitality industry. Organized by the Sri Lanka Hospitality Graduates Association (SLHGA) in collaboration with CDC Events, Hotel Show Colombo has been at the forefront of the industry for over 27 years, bringing together hospitality professionals, leading suppliers, manufacturers, and service providers under one roof. The exhibition showcases the latest innovations, products, technologies, and services, while creating valuable opportunities for networking, knowledge sharing, and business development, further strengthening and advancing Sri Lanka’s hospitality sector.

With over 400 stalls, this year’s exhibition will showcase a diverse range of global hospitality solutions, attracting visitors from Sri Lanka, the Maldives, India, and across South Asia. The event will highlight innovations in smart technology and contactless solutions, enhancing efficiency and guest experiences in a post-pandemic world. A strong focus will be placed on sustainable and eco-friendly hospitality, addressing the growing environmental consciousness within the sector. Additionally, luxury and experiential travel will take center stage, reflecting evolving guest expectations. The exhibition will also feature food and beverage innovations, showcasing trends from local culinary traditions to international gastronomy. Furthermore, advancements in property management systems (PMS) and interior design will be explored, emphasizing optimized hotel operations and enhanced guest comfort.
In true alignment with its focus on sustainable and eco-friendly hospitality, Hotel Show Colombo 2026 is proud to be hosted as a fully carbon-neutral event. This milestone reflects a deep commitment by the organizers to minimize environmental impact and set a responsible, forward-thinking benchmark for the regional hospitality sector. To ensure absolute transparency and adherence to rigorous global environmental standards, the exhibition’s carbon neutrality has been independently verified by Control Union Sri Lanka.

The hospitality sector is also evolving, with new destinations like Jaffna and Trincomalee emerging as travel hotspots. There is a strong focus on sustainability, with eco-resorts and community-based tourism gaining traction. Meanwhile, women’s participation in hospitality is increasing, highlighted by initiatives like Amba Yaalu, Sri Lanka’s first women-run resort. Sri Lanka’s culinary and bar scene is also flourishing, with unique local ingredients being used to create innovative food and beverage experiences. Hotel Show Colombo 2026 will spotlight these evolving trends, ensuring that the industry remains competitive in the global market.
Complementing the main exhibition are a series of concurrent events, including The National Barista Championship, National Room Stylist Challenge, National Tea Masters Cup Sri Lanka, Bar Champs, and a lineup of Industry-focused Masterclasses.
