Himalee Madurasinghe recognized as ‘Outstanding Country Representative’ at ESOMAR Congress 2022 in Toronto

Colombo, Sri Lanka, November 2022 – ESOMAR, the global voice of the data, research and insights community, recognised Director/ Head of Kantar, Sri Lanka – Himalee Madurasinghe with the award for ‘Outstanding Country Representative’ at the recently held 75th ESOMAR Congress 2022, in Toronto, Canada. Madurasinghe received the award for her exceptional contribution towards the market research industry and leadership provided to uplift market research in Sri Lanka whilst making a lasting positive impact, especially in turbulent conditions.

ESOMAR Congress 2022 – the annual conference and awards ceremony for ESOMAR Global, celebrated leaders and innovators in the insights and analytics community, recognising exceptional members across several key categories including best papers, presentations and exhibitors at Congress, plus best young researchers, most effective research projects and others.

Commenting on the recently concluded event, Chief Finance & Operations Officer, ESOMAR – Marie-Agnes Mourot de Lathyle, noted “There is amazing work happening in the insights space today, and our award programs shine a spotlight on the research projects, people and organizations that are making an impact. These individuals are selected from the academic, enterprise, agency, technology, consulting, and media realms and are focused on elevating and enhancing market research, enterprise intelligence, and data-driven marketing.

Himalee Madurasinghe is also the current Chairperson, a past President, and the Founder Secretary of the Market Research Society of Sri Lanka (MRSSL).
