Multichemi International Ltd wins at CNCI Achiever Awards 2022 for Industrial Excellence

Multichemi International Ltd, the pioneer in environment-friendly, biodegradable detergents under the flagship brand name ‘dash’, was the recipient of a National Merit Award in Extra Large Manufacturing Sector at the CNCI Achiever Awards 2022 for Industrial Excellence, organized by the Ceylon National Chamber of Industries.

Established in 1993, Multichemi International Ltd is one of the largest detergent manufacturers in Sri Lanka. Located within the Kindelpitiya Industrial Zone in Millewa Horana, Multichemi produces international standard user-friendly detergents under the brand names ‘dash’, ‘Safematic’, ‘Gliz’, ‘Comox’, ‘Safeol’, ‘SpringTime’ and ‘Magic Soft’, and are committed to enhancing customer satisfaction by offering quality products through continual improvements in quality systems and performance.

Multichemi’s detergents and cleaners cater to three main categories, namely Household Care, Laundry Care and Car Care.  In the Car Care category under their flagship brand ‘dash’, Multichemi was able to emerge as the category market leader in Sri Lanka within four years after its launch in 1993. The very strong distributor network covering the whole country, including North and East provinces, gives Multichemi the competency to deliver products across the island.

Ms. Gayani Jayarathne – General Manager of Multichemi International Ltd said that the company appreciates all its loyal customers for the trust placed in their brands over the last 30 years, and that the company further strives to exceed customers’ expectations to achieve their vision ‘To be the most sought-after Sri Lankan Detergent brand by 2025’.  In addition, she mentioned that the company hopes to launch a “Plant Based Fabric Conditioner” under the brand name ”Magic Soft” and re-launch the “Gliz” Dish Wash Liquid range in the first quarter of FY 2023/24 to further improve customer satisfaction in the respective product categories.
