Building on the success of the previous edition, the Great HR Awards 2027 introduces provisions to encourage participation from micro-category organisations in the private sector.

In a further step towards national level improvements in the field of HR, the state sector has been encouraged to participate through newly defined categories for commercial and non-commercial state organisations, enabling them to compete within their respective categories at concessionary entry fees.

CIPM Sri Lanka warmly invites state sector organisations to participate in this prestigious national platform, showcasing their best practices in people management, and gain recognition for their contribution to excellence in public sector human resource management.

Beyond recognition, the awards provide an opportunity for organisations to benchmark their HR practices, strengthen employer branding, celebrate their people management achievements and demonstrate the strategic contribution of HR to organizational objectives.

Supported by CIPM’s national leadership and Marsh’s global expertise, the initiative reinforces the growing importance of progressive, responsible and results-driven people management in shaping Sri Lanka’s future workforce.

Applications are now open, with the submission deadline set for 11 November 2026. The prestigious awards ceremony is scheduled for 12 March 2027 at Cinnamon Life, Colombo. For further details, contact CIPM Secretariat at 0716450571.
