Cinnamon Life Brings Authentic Korean Cuisine to Colombo with “A Taste of Korea”
Cinnamon Life is set to celebrate the rich flavours of Korean cuisine with “A Taste of Korea”, a special dining experience by celebrated Korean Chef Choi Jae-Hyun. From June 20th to 22nd, Quizine restaurant at Cinnamon Life will feature a Korean culinary haven, offering a curated selection of traditional Korean specialties that reflect both heartfelt tradition and decades of expertise.
With over 30 years of experience in the culinary industry, Chef Choi Jae-Hyun brings his passion for Korean food to every plate, featuring time-honoured dishes such as his signature Kimchi and rich Doenjang-Jiggae. Having led the kitchens at Seoul Plaza Hotel for over 30 years, Chef Choi is a master of Korean cuisine, renowned for his ability to blend tradition with creativity. He has also travelled the world, sharing Korean food with people and chefs across continents — and this weekend, he brings his love for Korean cuisine to Sri Lanka at Cinnamon Life. An expert in making Kimchi, Chef Choi has spent years perfecting its taste, turning it into a staple on his menus wherever he goes.
“A Taste of Korea” will be a dedicated Korean cuisine section available during dinner at Quizine, the all-day dining restaurant at Cinnamon Life. Known for its creative cuisine and international flavours, Quizine will feature Chef Choi serving up a range of Korean classics, including Kimbap, Japchae, and Tteokbokki.
