This agreement will facilitate unprecedented download speeds of up to 1 Gbps via fibreoptics for Colombo City Centre. SLT will also provide state-of-the-art technology and maintenance of the systems, ensuring high quality and superior service at all times. This service from SLT, which facilitates 1 Gbps (1,000 Mbps) broadband internet speed to residents, puts Sri Lanka on a par with an elite few cities in the world such as Singapore, Manhattan and Seoul where residents enjoy this speed of internet.
