Q: Give us an overview of Amplifon’s services and offerings…

Q: Tell us about the collaboration between Amplifon and Infomate…

ST: After testing outsourcing locations including India, the Philippines and Sri Lanka, we selected Infomate as our exclusive partner for its ability to deliver comprehensive, corporate level solutions globally.

Following extensive due diligence and an in-person visit in April, we began outsourcing our finance functions to Infomate with plans to expand into IT and corporate procurement.

This partnership is in its early stages and we are exploring additional services such as helpdesk support. Our choice of Infomate reflects our confidence in Sri Lanka’s talent and my personal commitment to creating opportunities for skilled professionals here.

We sought a partner with expertise, robust training programmes and strong ethical standards, making Infomate – backed by the John Keells Group – the ideal choice.

The initial collaboration has been successful, earning strong endorsement from Amplifon’s management and approval for further expansion. And we look forward to a long and productive relationship with Infomate.

Q: What led Amplifon to choose Sri Lanka as the preferred offshore partner for managing back office operations?

ST: Amplifon previously worked with companies in the Philippines, India and other countries; yet, I chose Sri Lanka, having grown up here, which gives me a deep understanding of our capabilities. I believe Sri Lankans consistently go above and beyond in their work.

While regions such as India have matured in outsourcing and often adhere strictly to specific requirements, Sri Lanka offers a more dynamic approach. Sri Lankans tend to exceed expectations, delivering innovative and value added solutions, a quality evident in our partnership with Infomate.

Sri Lanka’s resilience, particularly in recent years, also influenced our decision. Despite the challenges the country faced, it has consistently delivered services under tough circumstances. If Sri Lanka can thrive through adversity and still meet our expectations, it can overcome any challenge.
