About MAZE and its founder Prabath Seneviratne

MAZE is the brainchild of Prabath Seneviratne. After working in the ‘corporate world’ and slowly climbing his way up the superficial ladder, he realised the world of the 9 to 5 white-collar worker is not exactly cut out for him. At the same time, he noticed that there were no socks made for the tropical weather and even worse no socks with iconic Sri Lankan designs on them. Looking at the shelves, there were socks he would wear, but nothing he’d love to wear. So, after quitting his job, learning everything there is about hosiery and with the encouragement of his family and friends, he realised that he needed to be his own boss, do his own thing and live his own dreams.

MAZE socks are designed and made in Sri Lanka with prints ranging from Sri Lankan icons to modern classics to name a few. Sticking to its quirky products, the name MAZE is about getting lost in your own colourful world; it also plays on the Sri Lankan word for socks influenced by the Portuguese. Colourful socks or fun socks of this sort are all about portraying your personality and adding an extra bit of spunk to your look.

The socks are made from the highest quality combed cotton and are perfect for the tropical weather as they are breathable. The current collection features an almost endless variety of models and colours, all of them in coming in their own creative and original designs.
