CX CONNECT SRI LANKA BRINGS INDUSTRY LEADERS TOGETHER FOR ITS 2ND MEETUP

CX Connect Sri Lanka successfully held its 2nd CX Connect Meetup on 24th August 2026 at Radisson Hotel Colombo, bringing together customer experience professionals, business leaders, and industry decision-makers for an evening of insightful discussion and professional networking.
Building on the momentum of its inaugural meetup, the second edition continued CX Connect’s mission of creating a collaborative platform where professionals across industries can exchange knowledge, share practical experiences, and contribute to advancing customer experience excellence in Sri Lanka.
The highlight of the meetup was a panel discussion centred on the theme “From Customer Feedback to Business Action: Who Really Owns CX?”
The conversation explored how organisations can move beyond collecting customer feedback and ensure that customer insights translate into decisions, accountability, and meaningful business action. It also examined whether responsibility for customer experience belongs to individual functions such as marketing, operations, or customer service, or whether effective CX requires ownership across the entire organisation.
The panel featured Indresh Fernando, Seasoned C-Suite Leader – Strategy, Operations & Business Transformation. Asoka Bandara, Group Head of Corporate Affairs & Strategy at Maliban Group and Padmal Silva, Executive Director at amanté Lanka.

The discussion was moderated by Thiyangie De Mel, Head of CRM & Aggregator Partnerships at Domino’s Pizza Sri Lanka.
Drawing from their experience across different industries and business functions, the panelists shared practical perspectives on customer experience ownership, organisational accountability, and the importance of transforming customer feedback into actions that create meaningful business impact.
Radisson Hotel Colombo, the Hospitality Partner for the meetup, provided the setting for the evening, enabling participants to engage in meaningful conversations and professional networking.
Emojot, as the AI Experience Partner, supported the event’s focus on customer engagement and experience intelligence, complementing the discussion around turning customer feedback and insights into meaningful action.
The second meetup marked another step in CX Connect Sri Lanka’s broader effort to build a strong and collaborative customer experience community. The platform aims to continue bringing together CX professionals, business leaders, and decision-makers to exchange insights, discuss evolving customer expectations, and contribute to the advancement of customer-centric practices across industries.
At its core, CX Connect continues to be guided by its motto:
Connect. Share. Elevate CX Together.
