Sri Lanka Tourism wins Colombo District Women’s Cricket Championship!!

The Sri Lanka Tourism Women’s Cricket Team displayed exceptional skills and talent to emerge as Champions of the Women’s Cricket Tournament organized by the Colombo District Women’s Cricket Association (CDWCA), marking their 28th Anniversary. The Sri Lanka Tourism Women’s Team have beaten a tough competition of opponents representing various institutions and corporate bodies during the two days of the Tournament, held from 24th -25th at Nawaloka Grounds, Welisara. The Sri Lanka Tourism Women’s team consisted of players from their sister institutions including Sri Lanka Tourism Promotion Bureau, Sri Lanka Tourism Development Authority and Sri Lanka Conventions Bureau. The winning Trophy was handed over to the Tourism team by the Managing Director of Indian Oil Corporation (IOC) Mr. Dipak Das , who were the main sponsors of the Tournament .The women’s team remain thankful to the encouragement received from Chairman Mr. Chalaka Gajabahu and the support extended by the Welfare Association of the organization to participate in this tournament.
