Duminda Kuruwitaarachchi Elected to the Board of the United Federation of Travel Agents Association

April 2nd, 2024 Colombo – The United Federation of Travel Agents Association (UFTAA) proudly announces the election of Duminda Kuruwitaarachchi to its esteemed Board during the recent Extraordinary General Assembly and Annual General Assembly. Kuruwitaarachchi, President of the Travel Agents Association of Sri Lanka (TAASL) and Managing Director of Travel Outlook Ltd., brings over 27 years of entrepreneurial experience in the travel industry to his new role.

This appointment marks only the third time a Sri Lankan representative has been elected to the Board of UFTAA, signifying the growing influence and expertise of professionals from the region on the global stage.

With a diverse background in airline revenue management, modern marketing, and human resources, along with academic achievements including an MBA and ongoing PhD pursuit, Kuruwitaarachchi is uniquely positioned to contribute invaluable insights and strategic direction to UFTAA. His leadership within TAASL and his role as the founder of Travel Outlook Ltd. exemplify his dedication to advancing the travel industry.
