Union Assurance Celebrates Thai Pongal, Signifying Diversity

Union Assurance, Sri Lanka’s trailblazing Life Insurer, recently celebrated the Thai Pongal festival at its Head Office in Colombo and Jaffna branch. The Company is proud to be a multicultural Life Insurer that upholds diversity, equity, and inclusion.

The celebrations were held in the presence of the executive management and staff with a series of rituals exemplifying the importance of the Thai Pongal Festival.

Imtiyaz Aniff, the Chief People Officer of Union Assurance, remarked, “Union Assurance envisions making a difference in the community by promoting equality, unity, and harmony amongst the different races and religions in the Company.
