Since its inception, JASTECA has been a pioneer in advancing workplace excellence, operational efficiency, and sustainability. This year’s event marks the beginning of another chapter in recognizing businesses that successfully integrate Japanese management philosophies to drive innovation and continuous improvement.
Expressing his thoughts, Mr. Mangala Samarajeewa, President of JASTECA said, “A JASTECA Award is more than just an accolade – it is a mark of excellence, offering organizations enhanced industry recognition, improved stakeholder confidence, and a competitive advantage in the marketplace. Participants will also benefit from benchmarking opportunities and employee engagement. The recognition serves not only as a validation of current success but also as a catalyst for future growth,”
The focus of the JASTECA Awards 2025 is to elevate industry standards by encouraging organizations to adopt Advanced 5S methodologies, broaden participation by attracting a diverse range of companies across industries, and refine evaluation criteria for excellence. Additionally, the Awards will place greater emphasis on expanding expert-led training sessions and strengthening awareness of 5S benefits and its impact on business efficiency and productivity.
The Awards ceremony, which is set to take place in September this year, will feature three key award categories:
- Taiki Akimoto 5S Awards 2025– Honoring organizations that have successfully implemented the 5S methodology to enhance workplace productivity and efficiency.
