While its rich history and beautiful flora and fauna are reasons alone to visit this country, wellness is a strong contender to consider.

From beautiful and quaint hotels in the city, to traditional wellness retreats in the mountains, to Ayurvedic sanctuaries by the beach — what I find truly special is the unique approach to wellness tourism.  Within a few hours drive one can experience Ayurvedic healing practices in traditional and secluded retreats or get to know luxurious wellness resorts to partake in yoga or sound healing classes, or to focus on diet and Ayurveda treatments.

From lively streets, among beautiful endless beaches, to peaceful temples, every moment had a story to tell.
