to conduct ‘Rising to New Norm” awareness programme across country

Colombo 18th March 2021:  The national Insurer Sri Lanka Insurance conducts a series of awareness programmes across the country to educate general masses on the importance of following good health practices against Covid 19 during the new normal condition.

The first programme followed by a series of 15 programmes was held in Anuradhapura town on 6th of March 2021 with the participation of Dr. Palitha Bandara Provincial Director Health Services of North Central Province, Dr L.C.D. Ariyarathna, Regional Director Health Services of Anuradhapura, Mr.H.P Somadasa, Mayor of Anuradhapura Provincial Council, Mr. W.A.S. Wickramarachhci, Chief Inspector of Sri Lanka Police Anuradhapura, Mr. Mahinda Jayasena, Chairman of Chamber of Commerce Anuradhapura, Sri Lanka Insurance management and staff members.

The programme was comprised with several informative sessions with key personnel representing the health sector and defense sector in the Anuradhapura area on how to continue the regular day today activities while adhering to health and safety measures. The sessions were followed by a Q & A session conducted through SLIC social media pages which has received tremendous responses from people in the area.
