Ocean Lanka Honors Long-Serving Employees at Prestigious ‘Sewa Abhiman’ Awards
Ocean Lanka (Pvt) Ltd, Sri Lanka’s largest weft knitted fabric manufacturer, proudly hosted the prestigious “Sewa Abhiman” Loyalty Awards ceremony, celebrating the unwavering dedication and loyalty of its long-serving employees. The event paid tribute to 96 employees who had completed 10 and 20 years of service, emphasizing their vital role in the journey of the company.
This year, Ocean Lanka recognized 43 employees who celebrated an incredible 20 years of service and 53 employees who achieved the 10-year milestone. These achievements demonstrate not just the years of dedication but also the resilience, teamwork, and belief in Ocean Lanka’s mission that have propelled the company’s growth and success.
Speaking at the ceremony, Dr. Austin Au, President of Ocean Lanka (Pvt) Ltd., expressed his gratitude to the awardees, stating, “At Ocean Lanka, we’ve always believed that our biggest strength is our people. We have been able to innovate, grow, and gain recognition both locally and internationally thanks to your dedication. With 46% of its total cadre (844 employees) having completed more than 10 years of service and 16% (293 employees) hitting the 20-year mark, Ocean Lanka takes great pride in the loyalty of its workforce. These figures demonstrate the company’s ability to foster lasting professional relationships based on mutual respect, trust, and growth.
