More than 1 million have recovered from coronavirus globally
More than 1 million people globally have recovered from COVID-19 as of Thursday, according to data compiled by Johns Hopkins University.
Based on the same database there are more than 3.2 million confirmed COVID-19 cases globally, including more than 1 million confirmed cases in the U.S.
Globally, 231,415 people have died of COVID-19, according to the database.
Of the more than 1 million recovered COVID-19 cases, nearly 125,000 are from the U.S., based on the Johns Hopkins data.
The most recovered cases were reported in Spain, with nearly 140,00 recoveries reported of the nation’s confirmed 239,639 COVID-19 cases.
Germany reported 123,500 recovered cases, of the country’s 162,123 confirmed COVID-19 cases, based on the Johns Hopkins Data.
The virus has spread widely across the globe.
China has reported 83,944 COVID-19 cases, of which 78,493 recovered, based on the Johns Hopkins database. U.S. intelligence agencies, however, believe that Beijing has underreported the total number of cases and confirmed deaths.
