Celebrating their anniversary on the 6th of June 2023, Just in time group (JIT) proudly marks its 27th year as a leading conglomerate in the ICT industry.

Budding from humble beginnings, JIT Group commenced its operation in the year 1996 with 4 enthusiastic individuals in a 100 square feet basement office. Commencing its operations with merely USD 1,000 as capital investment and marketing computers and laptops; Today this single entity has grown multi folds having 5 Group companies under its wing while providing employment to over 150 personnel, diversifying its business model to be a complete solution provider.

With its vast product portfolio and service offering, JIT Group provides innovative solutions to multiple sectors such as the Government, Defense, Banking and finance, Telecommunications and Enterprise. Great strides have been made with milestone projects handle by the company in the following areas;

Apart from the core business, JIT Group also believes that its long-term value creation is derived through the sustainable development of the communities they operate within and its environment. Therefore, JIT continues to invest in meaningful Social and Environmental initiatives that creates a positive impact. As a few mentions JIT sponsored the development of a room as an initiative to support the ‘Suwa Arana’ project, a Place for Healing at the Paediatric Palliative Care Center, at the Indira Trust Cancer Hospital early this year. Aid and support were also provided to communities less privileged due to unfortunate circumstances, such as the Menhandy School for the Exceptional Child where JIT supported the upgrade of sanitation facilities, educational sponsorship of a well-deserving child affected by a disability and establishment of 20 reading rooms in orphanages and under privileged schools in rural areas working to create a better future every day for our younger generation. The company is also cautious of its carbon footprint on the environment and has made many changes including operational changes, energy consumption alternatives and promotion of daily life changes to employees that would contribute to environmental sustainability as a whole has earned JIT the Carbon Neutral certification in 2022. This financial year the JIT group turns its focus towards long term initiatives that coincide with 9 of the sustainability goals set out by the United Nations Development program. The commitment towards sustainability has evolved to be a part and parcel of the way of life at Just in Time group.

On the basis of sustainable work culture, it is fitting to mention that JIT makes it compulsory to maintain a good balance of employees from all walks of life, race and religion. Further, 40% of the senior management consists of women leaders and over 30% of employees have been part of the JIT family for well over 10 years even after expansion and recruitment of new staff.
