The delegation led by Ajith D Perera (Secretary General / CEO of Federation of Chamber of Commerce and Industry Sri Lanka (FCCISL) along with Mr. A.M.Jufer (President Chamber of tourism & Industry) and Mr. U.P.S.Pathirana ( Secretary General of Chamber of tourism) met the official of European union (EU) at the EU Colombo office on Thursday 28th. In this meeting Chamber requested EU representatives to assist revive the rural Tourism focussing on the SME tourism sector in the country. Mr. Frank Hess (Minister of Counsellor and Head of Cooperation), Mr. Thorsten Bargfrede ( Deputy Head Mission & Head of Political, Trade and Communications Section) & Harshini Halangode (Programme Manager) were among the EU Representatives.
