Dialog Enterprise and Rotary Club of Colombo Metropolitan Join Hands for the Seventh Annual Par 3 Golf Classic in 2023
The Rotary Club of Colombo Metropolitan (RCCM), in its continued partnership with Dialog Enterprise, is pleased to announce the seventh edition of the Dialog Enterprise Rotary Metro Par 3 Golf Classic, scheduled for October 14, 2023. This longstanding collaboration reaffirms Dialog's commitment to aiding underprivileged children of our country. The Royal Colombo Golf Club (RCGC) will once again play host to this prestigious event, promising a day of intense golfing competition. Tee-off times for the tournament are set for 7:00 AM and 11:30 AM, with golfers divided into two groups.
Dialog Enterprise Rotary Metro Par 3 Golf Classic stands as a unique sporting spectacle in the RCGC calendar, where the entire course is transformed into a challenging par 54 course that is both a unique and fun experience for its golfers. Each hole presents a different length and a Par 3 challenge, offering players a mix of fun and competitiveness. The primary objective of the Dialog Enterprise – Rotary Metro Par 3 Golf Classic is to raise funds for numerous community development initiatives overseen by the Rotary Club of Colombo Metropolitan. These projects span diverse areas, including healthcare, education, and support for underprivileged communities.

“Our 'Two Hearts' project has enabled over 100 congenital heart surgeries for underprivileged children over the past two years and once again we are committed to another 50 surgeries this year. We continue with our support to local government hospitals that struggle to procure essential medications, with funding to do so. Our project 'Little Minds Strong Values,' in collaboration with the Ministry of Education, promotes positive values among preschool children. Additionally, we continue to support homes like Sith Sevana, providing care for mentally and physically challenged individuals. Our club's projects include the Sunshine Games for differently abled children, and running an after-school English, dance and IT education program for the children of Gamini Vidyalaya and its vicinity.
