Celebrates Outstanding Staff Achievements at Banking Awards Night

A Bank well-recognised for its exceptional customer experience and service standards, DFCC Bank recently hosted its annual DFCC Banking Awards 2023 to honour its high-achieving staff. Held under the theme “The Shining Stars” at the BMICH on the 23rd of March 2024, the ceremony was a gala event, followed by an evening of fellowship and networking.

The Awards highlighted exceptional performances and exacting standards of dedication amongst DFCC Bank’s staff during 2023, which helped to uplift the Bank’s performance. During the financial year 2023, DFCC Bank posted a year of record successes across multiple metrics, including financials, sustainability, and customer service. Accordingly, the outstanding individuals who contributed to these achievements from across the Bank’s branch network and its sales teams were honoured on the DFCC Banking Awards 2023 platform.

Over 400 staff members were present at the event, along with distinguished senior management, which included DFCC Bank’s Chairman, J Durairatnam, Chief Executive Officer (CEO), Thimal Perera, and several other high-ranking officials from the Bank’s corporate management and senior management teams. The atmosphere at the DFCC Banking Awards 2023 was nothing short of electric and included a diverse array of colourful entertainment acts, which added to the excitement of the evening.

In total, 137 awards were presented at the DFCC Banking Awards 2023. These included awards covering various spheres such as overall branch performance, product-related achievements, customer service, audit standards, and special awards for exceptional performers across DFCC Bank’s different products and other campaigns. Overall, the DFCC Banking Awards 2023 concluded as a resounding success, providing a platform for recognition and building stronger ties between the Bank’s diverse teams.
