LAKSHMAN SILVA APPOINTED AS CHIEF EXECUTIVE OFFICER

DFCC Bank has appointed Lakshman Silva as its new CEO with effect from 16 August. With an extensive background and expertise in financial services and banking, he is expected to help steer DFCC Bank to become one of the foremost and most respected commercial banks in the country, embracing a new era of innovation, digitalisation and growth. Silva has over 30 years of experience in the financial sector and holds an MBA from the Postgraduate Institute of Management of the University of Sri Jayewardenepura. Commencing his professional career at the Inland Revenue Department of Sri Lanka, he moved to the financial services industry and joined the DFCC Group in 1987.
