DFCC Bank Rewards 70 Remittance Customers Each Month to Celebrate 70 Years

Colombo, Sri Lanka – August 2025 – Coinciding with its 70th anniversary, DFCC Bank has recognised the July winners of its ‘Badu Mallak’ Remittance Campaign, an initiative that honours the loyalty and trust of customers who send and receive funds through DFCC Remittances. Two winners were recently celebrated at a ceremony in Horana, joined by the staff of DFCC Bank’s Horana Branch.
The campaign rewards 70 customers every month with Rs. 10,000 supermarket vouchers – a gesture that symbolises both gratitude and continuity. Winners are selected as the first 70 DFCC Bank accounts to receive inward remittances in a given month, reflecting the Bank’s enduring connection with the nation it serves proudly.
Commenting on the initiative, Anton Arumugam, Senior Vice President and Head of Offshore Banking and Remittance Business Development at DFCC Bank, said: “At DFCC Bank, every milestone is shared with our customers. Running until 31 October 2025, the campaign requires no special documentation – customers who receive inward remittances via DFCC Remittances are automatically included, with each eligible to win once during the promotion period.
With three months remaining, DFCC Bank invites customers to be part of this anniversary initiative, reinforcing the Bank’s longstanding role as a trusted financial partner and its vision to remain a meaningful contributor to Sri Lanka’s progress.
