Adopts Bloomberg Data License to Streamline Portfolio Management and Operations

Colombo, 7 August, 2024: Bloomberg today announced that Commercial Bank of Ceylon (ComBank), one of Sri Lanka’s leading banks, has adopted Bloomberg’s Data License to access reliable, high-quality reference data and to streamline their portfolio management. This marks ComBank as the first bank in Sri Lanka to adopt Bloomberg’s Data License to power their growth journey with comprehensive enterprise data.

ComBank will use Data License to perform valuations and ‘mark to market’ their portfolio automatically, reducing the scope for error. Data License provides billions of data points daily, spanning reference, ESG, pricing, risk, regulation, fundamentals, estimates, historical data and more to help companies streamline operations and discover new investment opportunities. Data License content aligns with the data on the Bloomberg Terminal to provide consistency and scale to investment workflows across an enterprise.
