Cinnamon Red added a bold, urban twist to this beloved tradition, wowing guests with a dramatic performance as Santa Claus made a thrilling descent from the 26th floor, capturing the skyline of Colombo in a truly unique entrance. Waiting to greet him at the base was Mrs. Claus, adding her charm to this magical evening. Together, they turned a wet and cloudy November night into a heartwarming urban Christmas tale that delighted guests of all ages.

The highlight of the ceremony was the unveiling of a dazzling 20-foot Christmas tree at the hotel’s entrance canopy. With a swipe of his iPad, General Manager Mr. Terrence Fernando lit up the tree and the building in a cascade of vibrant colors, symbolizing the start of a bold and joyous season. Guests were treated to homemade mince pies, mulled wine, and sweet cashews, enjoying a cozy yet contemporary take on cherished Christmas traditions.
