CINNAMON LIFE LAUNCHES BRUNCH ON 23, A WEEKLY SKY-HIGH BRUNCH EXPERIENCE 

New Saturday brunch brings together signature dishes from a range of their specialty restaurants on Level 23 

Cinnamon Life at City of Dreams introduces Brunch on 23, a new weekly brunch experience that debuts this Saturday, October 25, 2025. Hosted on Level 23 across Staten Bar & Grill and Bistro des Marées, the brunch offers guests panoramic views of both the Indian Ocean and Colombo skyline while sampling dishes from nearly all of the property’s specialty restaurants. 

The concept emerged from Cinnamon Life’s first anniversary brunch held on October 18, which received strong positive feedback from guests. Following its success, the property has transformed the experience into a regular Saturday offering, continuing the signature Cinnamon approach to hospitality. 

Brunch on 23 brings together culinary highlights from Staten Bar & Grill, Bistro des Marées, Indiya, Yoroko, and Gatz, allowing guests to explore multiple cuisines in a single sitting. The format addresses a simple idea: rather than visiting each restaurant separately, diners can now experience the best of all the venues during one expansive brunch service. 

The spread features distinct live stations showcasing each restaurant’s strengths. Staten contributes a Meat Carvery with Beef Wellington, Jerk Grilled Chicken, and Lamb Leg, alongside a German Station serving Pork Knuckle, three types of sausages, and pretzels with house-made mustards. 

Bistro des Marées presents an Arabic Station with Chicken Shawarma, hummus, and fattoush salad, plus an Italian Station featuring Prawn Pappardelle and Truffle Mushroom Risotto. The restaurant also offers a Live Oyster Station with Café de Paris butter and garlic herb preparations, and an Antipasto Station with artisan cheeses, charcuterie, and fresh accompaniments. 

Indiya brings authentic Indian street food through a Mumbai Chaat Station offering five varieties with traditional condiments, and a Keema Pav Station serving both mutton and vegetarian options. Yoroko contributes a Live Temaki Station and a Ramen Station featuring Shoyu and Miso variations with traditional toppings. 

Gatz adds a Lamprais Station to the mix, presenting this traditional Sri Lankan dish with ghee rice, mixed meat curry, prawn sambal, and seeni sambal. The dessert selection includes Live Chocolate Taco and Crepe Suzette stations, an ice cream sundae bar, and seasonal Sri Lankan fruits. 

A dedicated kids’ buffet ensures younger guests have their own selections, making the brunch suitable for family gatherings, friendly get-togethers, or leisurely weekend starts. The relaxed, contemporary atmosphere across both venues provides flexibility for different group sizes and occasions. 

Live cooking stations add theater and freshness to the experience, with chefs preparing dishes to order throughout service. The combination of seated dining areas with expansive city views creates a comfortable environment for extended Saturday afternoons. 

Brunch on 23 runs every Saturday from 12pm to 3pm. The experience is priced at Rs. 12,000++ per person.
