Cinnamon Grand Colombo Unveils the Longest Ever Yule Log

Colombo, Saturday 16th December 2023: In a spectacular celebration of time-honoured Christmas traditions, Cinnamon Grand Colombo proudly presented the unveiling of the city of Colombo's largest Yule Log ever, measuring an impressive 300 feet and weighing 300 kg.

On the morning of Saturday, December 16th, guests, friends, and well-wishers gathered for the official ceremony presided over by Area Vice President – Cinnamon Colombo Hotels and General Manager – Cinnamon Grand Colombo, Kamal Munasinghe, along with Executive Chef – Cinnamon Grand Colombo, Kapila Jayasinghe.

The 300-foot-long Chocolate Sponge log pays homage to the traditional French creation known as Bûche De Noël (Yule Log). Following the unveiling, the log was meticulously divided into individual blocks, each measuring 1 foot and weighing 1 kg.
