BOC Little Picasso Celebrates Sri Lanka’s Next Generation of Artists

In a vibrant celebration of creativity, Bank of Ceylon (BOC) hosted the Little Picasso National Award Ceremony on 3rd April 2025 at BOC Head Office, followed by a three-day public exhibition (3rd-5th April). The event showcased the artistic brilliance of Sri Lanka’s youth, with 132,000+ entries from children and teachers nationwide.

After a rigorous judging process, 73 national winners were honored for artworks bursting with imagination and skill, while 715 provincial winners will be recognized in due course.

“As Mr. Priyal Silva, Deputy General Manager (Branch Operations), emphasized in his address, ‘Programs like Little Picasso represent BOC’s commitment to empowering futures beyond finance – by giving young minds space to dream, create, and inspire.’ Under his guidance, a dedicated team transformed these young artists’ visions into a national celebration of potential.”
