BOC on a quest to revive the spirit of Sri Lankan entrepreneurs, conducts a Business Revival Forum.

the Bank of Ceylon concluded a very successful forum on ‘Business Revival’ recently for customers who have successfully revived their businesses through the bank’s special process on business rehabilitating. The forum consisted of lectures and panel discussions that shared insights on entrepreneurship and business intelligence by several eminent figures in the filed including Prof Ajantha Dharmasiri. Mr.Dammika Lokuge and Mr. M.S.K. Dharmawardene. The forum was enriched  with a networking session and a felicitation organized. The forum was graced by the Governor of Central Bank of Sri Lanka Dr. Nandalal Weerasinghe as the Chief Guest. The Bank’s Chairman Presidnet’s Counsel Mr. Ronald C. Perera and the General Manager Mr.Russel Fonseka extended their patronage for the program.

BOC’s Business Revival and Rehabilitation Unit (BRRU) headed by the founding DGM Mr. Rohana Kumara, is a special division that was established focusing on going beyond the traditional route of recovering loans from corporate businesses to revive their business with additional facilities and most importantly business intelligence under close monitoring of an appointed relationship manager. This forum was organized with the objective of opening an opportunity for customer who are taken under this special unit to provide them with additional business intelligence exposing them to resource persons of industry thought leaders. Over 200 guests including BRRU customers participated for the forum and the networking session thereafter.
