Amana Bank expands further with opening of Irakkamam Self Banking Centre

The official opening of the Self Banking Centre at Irakkamam – Imtiaz Iqbal (Chief Operating Officer of Amãna Bank), M.S.M Razzan (Divisional Secretary – Irakkamam, local business representatives, alongside customers, area residents and staff of Amãna Bank.

Amana Bank expanded its customer locations to 66 with the opening of the Bank’s 33rd Self Banking Centre (SBC) in Irakkamam, a town located in the Ampara district of the Eastern Province. The opening of the Irakkamam SBC is part of the Bank’s objective of increasing it access while also providing financial inclusion to those who previously lacked access to banking services.

The SBC was inaugurated under the patronage of the Bank’s Chief Operating Officer Imtiaz Iqbal, Assistant Vice President Deposits and Digital Innovation Arshad Jamaldeen along with the Local Government Authorities, Branch Managers of the Eastern region, local business representatives, local government authorities and residents. This SBC located at No 90 Ampara Road, Irakkamam will offer round-the-clock access for cash withdrawals, cash deposits, and cheque deposits.

Commenting on the opening, the Bank’s Chief Operating Officer Imtiaz Iqbal said: “We are delighted to expand our Self-Banking Centre network to Irakkamam, reinforcing our dedication to promoting financial inclusivity and ensuring convenient access to a diverse range of banking services for our valued customers and the wider community.”
