Opens 60th customer location with launch of Self Banking Centre in Atulugama
Amana Bank opened its 60th customer location with the establishment of a Self-Banking Centre (SBC) in the town of Atulugama off Bandaragama, thereby extending the Bank’s people-friendly development banking model to serve those in the locality who previously lacked convenient access to banking services. Located at No. 14, Samees Mahal Bogawatha, Atulugama, Bandargama, this SBC marks the Bank’s commitment to enhancing banking accessibility to areas with zero or limited banking presence.
The Atulugama SBC was opened under the patronage of the Bank’s Chief Operating Officer Imtiaz Iqbal, Assistant Vice President – Deposits and Digital Innovation, Arshad Jamaldeen along with the Panadura Branch Manager, Dishan Subuhan, local business representatives and residents. The Atulugama SBC will offer round-the-clock access for cash withdrawal, cash deposit, and cheque deposits.
Commenting on the expansion of its network, Chief Operating Officer Imtiaz Iqbal stated, “We are delighted to expand our Self-Banking Centre network to Atulugama, reinforcing our dedication to promoting financial inclusivity and ensuring convenient access to a diverse range of banking services for our valued customers and the wider community.”
